Marketplace Fees

Phase 1 has no Hobbow transaction fee because Hobbow does not process marketplace payments. The schedule below is planned for the future protected-checkout release and may change before activation.

Founding Member benefit

Founding Members are planned to receive no Hobbow marketplace fee on their first five completed native-marketplace sales. After those sales, the applicable Hobbow percentage is reduced by one percentage point, but never below zero.

Other charges

Payment-processing, payout, currency-conversion, shipping, insurance, tax, dispute, chargeback, or optional promotional charges are separate from the Hobbow marketplace percentage. Applicable charges must be shown before a seller confirms an integrated transaction.

Refunds and reversals

The final protected-checkout policy will explain when Hobbow fees are reversed, retained, or recovered following refunds, partial refunds, disputes, chargebacks, failed delivery, or policy violations. No such integrated-payment rules apply during Phase 1.

External marketplace compensation

Volunteer Technology Systems may receive affiliate compensation when a user follows an eligible external-marketplace link or completes a qualifying purchase. This compensation does not increase the price displayed by Hobbow unless clearly disclosed.
