1. Application and eligibility
Vendor participation is subject to application and approval by Volunteer Technology Systems. Applicants must provide accurate business, contact, website, product, policy, and ownership information.
Applicants must be authorized to act for the named organization. Hobbow may request additional identity, licensing, insurance, tax, inventory-source, fulfillment, return-policy, or authorization details.
2. Vendor verification
A Verified Vendor badge means Hobbow approved the business for a vendor feature based on information available during review.
Verification is not a guarantee, certification, warranty, or promise concerning every product, employee, transaction, claim, shipment, or future action of the vendor.
3. Vendor responsibilities
- Offer only lawful products and services the vendor is authorized to sell or promote.
- Provide accurate prices, availability, condition, specifications, images, shipping terms, and material limitations.
- Maintain functioning contact, privacy, shipping, return, warranty, and customer-support information.
- Comply with applicable consumer-protection, product-safety, recall, licensing, tax, export, advertising, and intellectual-property requirements.
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Promptly update information that becomes inaccurate or materially incomplete.
4. Transactions and fulfillment
During Phase 1, Hobbow may link to a vendor website, display vendor information, host marketplace listings, or facilitate communication without processing the resulting purchase.
Unless a future written checkout agreement states otherwise, the vendor is responsible for orders, payment collection, taxes, fulfillment, shipping, cancellations, returns, warranties, support, disputes, and chargebacks.
5. Vendor content and brand materials
The vendor retains ownership of eligible content but grants Volunteer Technology Systems a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, format, display, and distribute submitted business information, logos, product materials, and approved campaign content.
The vendor represents that it has all permissions needed to provide those materials.
6. Fees and commercial arrangements
Free pilot access, founding-vendor participation, paid placements, sponsorships, affiliate compensation, or other commercial arrangements may be offered under separate written terms.
Approval does not create exclusivity, guaranteed renewal, guaranteed placement, or guaranteed results.
7. Restriction, suspension, and termination
Hobbow may restrict, suspend, remove, or decline to renew vendor features when information is inaccurate, policies are violated, products become unsafe or prohibited, complaints create reasonable concern, legal obligations require action, or continued participation could harm Hobbow or its community.
8. No guaranteed business results
Except where a separate written agreement says otherwise, Volunteer Technology Systems does not guarantee traffic, visibility, leads, customer quality, conversion, revenue, inventory sales, or other business results.
