1. Scope
This policy applies when money, free products, discounts, commissions, travel, services, equipment, access, prizes, or another material benefit is provided in connection with content appearing on Hobbow or official Hobbow social channels.
2. Required commercial labels
Sponsored material must use clear language such as “Ad,” “Advertisement,” “Paid Advertisement,” “Sponsored,” or “Sponsored Advertising Content.”
The label must appear where a reasonable viewer is likely to notice it before or while receiving the commercial message.
3. Honest opinions and accurate claims
Sponsored content must reflect genuine experiences and may not make claims that the creator, vendor, or Hobbow cannot reasonably support.
Material limitations, unusual testing conditions, prototypes, modified products, and results that are not typical must be explained when relevant.
4. Product demonstrations and field testing
Demonstrations must identify the product used and must not materially misrepresent speed, range, strength, compatibility, durability, safety, scale, editing, weather, battery configuration, modifications, or other conditions affecting the viewer’s understanding.
5. Reviews and comparisons
Compensation does not guarantee a positive review. Hobbow may require editorial independence, disclosure that a product was supplied without charge, and correction of factual errors.
Vendors may not purchase favorable opinions, suppress legitimate negative experiences, or require a specific rating as a condition of compensation.
6. Giveaways and promotions
Giveaways must use clear eligibility requirements, start and end times, entry methods, prize descriptions, selection procedures, geographic limitations, delivery terms, and sponsor identification.
Promotions must not falsely imply that a social platform, manufacturer, retailer, or Hobbow endorses or administers the promotion when that is not true.
8. Correction and enforcement
Hobbow may require revised labels, corrected claims, updated descriptions, removed links, edited creative, or removal of sponsored content.
Serious or repeated violations may result in campaign cancellation, vendor restriction, or suspension.
